Samson & Charlie is an independent, natural, clean beauty brand that is vegan, cruelty-free, and proudly micro-batched in Melbourne, Australia. Our journey began with a deep love for our two dogs, Samson and Charlie, whose names now grace our brand, symbolizing loyalty, love, and the joy they brought into our lives.
Our inspiration stemmed from a personal quest for effective skincare solutions. After experiencing adverse reactions to synthetic products and finding high-end alternatives like SK-II effective yet prohibitively expensive, we delved into the world of botanical ingredients. The story behind SK-II's sake ingredient unveiled the potent, transformative power of natural components, igniting our passion for creating skincare that harnesses these benefits without compromising on quality or accessibility.
Balancing a full-time career while immersing ourselves in formulation research was challenging yet deeply rewarding. This journey was further enriched by attending a symposium featuring Jimmy Choo in Perth. His emphasis on producing the highest quality well crafted products resonated with us profoundly, reinforcing our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship in skincare.

They are the Namesakes and Brand Ambassadors that we wanted to share with the world. Samson is our big bear - a Black Russian Terrier and Charlie, who is now no longer with us, the most beautiful little fluffball Maltese / Shit Zu who will always remail the apple of our eye and the centre of our world.
